Everything you need to know about working with a licensed general contractor in Citrus County, Florida.
Working With Us
Is Citrus County Construction licensed and insured?
Yes. We are a licensed Florida general contractor and carry full liability and workers' compensation insurance. Our license number is available upon request, and we're happy to provide license and insurance information before any project begins.
Do you handle both residential and commercial projects?
We do. We build, remodel, and repair both homes and commercial properties — from kitchen and bathroom remodels and home additions to office, retail, and restaurant buildouts and tenant improvements.
What areas do you serve?
We serve all of Citrus County, FL — including Inverness, Crystal River, Homosassa, Lecanto, Beverly Hills, Hernando, Floral City, Dunnellon, Sugarmill Woods, Citrus Springs, Pine Ridge, Black Diamond, and Holder — plus nearby Central Florida communities.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. We stand behind our work with a workmanship warranty and pass along manufacturer warranties on the materials and systems we install. We'll review warranty details with you for your specific project.
Do you self-perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or roofing work?
As a licensed Florida general contractor, we manage and coordinate the full project. Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, and other licensed specialty trades are coordinated through properly licensed Florida subcontractors when required by Florida law.
Estimates & Pricing
How do I get a free estimate?
Call us at (352) 555-0100 or request a free estimate online. We'll discuss your project, visit the site if needed, and provide a clear, itemized estimate with no obligation.
What is included in a construction estimate?
A good estimate breaks down labor, materials, permits, and any allowances so you understand exactly what you're paying for. We avoid vague lump sums so there are no surprises later.
What affects the cost of my project?
Cost is driven by project size and complexity, materials and finishes, structural and mechanical requirements, permitting, site access, and any unforeseen conditions discovered during construction. We explain the cost drivers up front.
Do you require a deposit?
Most projects involve a deposit to secure scheduling and order materials, with a clear payment schedule tied to milestones. Everything is documented in your written agreement before work begins.
Permits & Process
Do you handle permits and inspections?
Yes. Permit coordination and inspection scheduling are part of our process. We handle the paperwork and code requirements through the Citrus County Building Division (or the relevant municipality) so your project stays compliant.
Do I need a permit for my remodel or addition?
Most projects involving structural, electrical, plumbing, or mechanical work require a permit. We'll determine exactly what's needed for your project and handle the permitting for you.
How long will my project take?
Timelines depend on scope. Focused remodels can take a few weeks, while additions and larger builds take longer. We provide a realistic schedule with your estimate and keep you updated throughout.
What happens during the final walkthrough?
We walk the completed project with you, review the work in detail, and create a punch list of any final touch-ups. We don't consider the job done until you're satisfied and everything meets our standards.
